Venue Hire Lead

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Hybrid working – 3-4 days per week at the office (Burlington House, Piccadilly), with 1-2 days per week working from home

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (based on experience)

About the role:

The main purpose of this role is to grow the venue hire pipeline of business and deliver venue hire events and specialist group events to excellent standards ensuring repeat business and maximising new sales opportunities. We are seeking a professional, confident candidate who enjoys the end-to-end process of events and is keen to make their mark on venue hire at the Society. You will also be highly organised with a keen eye for detail and confident being the 'gatekeeper' of the room bookings diary at the Society.

Chartership Licensing Project Officer

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)

Contract: 8-10 month fixed-term contract

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience)

About the role:

We are seeking a Chartership Licensing Project Officer to manage and administer the pilot project to develop a recognition arrangement (RA) framework for licensing Chartered Geologist (CGeol) status to professional bodies overseas, using the new framework to secure three RAs within the project period.
